Railroad tunnel, south end. 06/09/56 - True, it was built years after the canal plus it's on the wrong side of the creek (So is Fredericktown for that matter.), but it's a sight that a canal walker might run into eventually since it's not that far above Lock 51. Note that the slide was badly deteriorated. |
