Lock 35 April 2004 - On the left bank near where the upper end of the Dogwood Trail comes down off the hill. There is not much left but the pit and a very few stone. Richard Heidel had this to say in his notes about Lock 35 while hiking the canal to photograph the locks in 1955, "nothing". And at that time this area was pretty much an open field.
