Lock 38, "Vondergreen's" May 2002 - A beautifully built and extremely well preserved lock, Vondergreen's also has attached to it one of the more massive dams on the canal. In times past, brush and small trees have filled the channel of the lock. This picture was taken just after a cleanup job. |
