Guard Lock at Dam 2 (G&V Lock 22) March 2003 - Gard & Vodrey place Lock 22 at Dam 2 just east of Lisbon. But the 1854 auction papers (see A Note on Lock Numbering) state that the lock there is an unnumbered guard lock with Locks 21 & 22 farther downstream. But where is the stone that was there in Dick Heidel's 1956 shot of the lock? |
