Lock 29 March 2003 - Located much, much farther downstream past Lock 28 than Gard & Vodrey's map would lead you to believe. It can get so overgrown in late July that it is possible to walk past the lock without seeing it even though it is right beside a well defined path. The ruins of the lock are in sharp contrast to abutment of Dam 5 on the right bank across the creek. |
