Lock 44 April 2003 - On the right bank and a little farther downstream
than Gard & Vodrey
say it is. Don't try to follow the creek if hiking, keep to the horse trails.
It's easy to miss if canoeing but if you keep an eye out for the dam abutment
that is on the opposite bank, you will be able to spot the lock. Some timber
from the dam can be seen in the creek when the water is clear. |
